Italy - RCD Power Cords - 10A Plug. RCD is a Residual Current Device. Plug is a grounded 3-pin Italian CEI23-50 (CEI23-16) with a 10A 250VAC rating. Connector options are the IEC60320 C5, C13, C13 right angle, C13 left angle, and C15. Also supplied as an open ended power cord.

    The CEI 23-50 10A plug type configuration is rated for 250VAC and 10 Amps in Italy and is also classified as the international type L plug. The 10A configuration is smaller than the 16 amp configuration to prevent connection the 16 amp plug type into a 10 amp receptacle, which is an electrical hazard.

    The IEC 60320 C13 is a grounded 3 Wire connector rated up to 250V and 15 Amps. The C13 mates with a C14 inlet, and is commonly used in a jumper cable scenario in IT Installations providing power from a PDU to a server, router, switch or other computing device. Most people know the C13 as 'the thing that plugs into my computer' because it is the standard connector used to power most desktop computers. In a desktop computer application, the most common cable is the NEMA 5-15P to C13, which connects your standard North American wall outlet to a desktop computer.
